Ever heard this?
I don’t know what I am passionate about yet.
Why do people say this? Because most career advisor give pablum advice like:
Find something you are passionate about.
What are you excited about?
What is it you reallyreallyreally want to do?
What will make you happy at work?
What stimulates you the most?
The real practical advice-giver can help you determine which direction to go. The key…in my mind at least…is far simpler. Which direction to go?
Just go.
